We are offering two
programs which follow the guidelines of the American Heart Association,
and offer a new approach to CPR & First aid training. The programs
provide a comprehensive curriculum designed to teach participants the
skills needed to maintain the life of an accident victim until EMS
personnel arrive, along with recognizing and caring for potentially
life-threatening emergencies. These organizations have updated the
training materials to reflect the new changes from the American Heart
Association.
These classes give the attendee's a two year certificate in CPR/AED, and a three year certificate in first
aid. We have also recently updated the programs with new books and
videos. These programs use a variety of teaching aids, including videos,
lecture, and practical hands-on exercises.

This
program follows the guidelines recommended by OSHA for first aid and
CPR/AED training. Completion cards will be issued upon successful
completion of a course. All instructors are experienced trainers
certified through the Red Cross and National Safety Council.

There is a minimum charge for ten people.
CPR/First Aid/AED Training* - $550 to $650
CPR/AED Training* - $350
First Aid Training only* - $350
* Plus expenses if necessary. Mileage costs 48.5 cents a
mile, to your facility and back. Lodging with an overnight. All expenses
are negotiable.
Approximate time requirements:
CPR/AED/First
aid: 8 hours with break
CPR/AED only: 3.5 Hours

This 4.5 Hour program is designed for individuals who regularly or
occasionally operate powered industrial trucks. OSHA standard 1910.178
requires all operators to be trained.
This program will help the attendees develop safe operating practices,
learn the differences between various lift trucks, and reduce injuries
to co-workers and operators, while minimizing damage to property and
cargo.
This program meet’s the OSHA class room training requirements. It is
based on OSHA regulations, and must be supplemented by site specific
hands on training and evaluation before wallet cards can be issued. All
attendees will have the forms needed to start up a written program upon
class completion.
Topics for discussion:
• Pre-shift Inspection
• Building skills and techniques for safe lift truck operation and
maintenance
• How to work safely around people while operating powered equipment
• Method’s of learning; video, work books, group discussion
Pricing information:
Fork lift safety - Up to 10 people - $300.00
Over the 10 person minimum - $25.00 per person
Onsite Fork Lift “ Train the Trainer”
This is a 6 hour class which will prepare the attendee’s to be able to
teach the 4.5 hour fork lift safety program. Attendees will learn how to
teach the course, including a review of materials, and presentation
skills. Instructor manual discusses hands on training, and shows how to
lay out an evaluation course. Emphasis is on safe operation and
maintenance of fork lifts.
Pricing information: $500.00 - Includes one leader’s guide and 5 work
books.
